Manufacturing Technician $18-$20 per hour, DOE Onsite in Garden Grove, CA (92841) First shift: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 pm Full time hours Medical benefits available 6-12 month assignment (conversion/extension possible)   Position Summary: Our client has a temporary Manufacturing Technician opening at their Garden Grove, California facility.   Job Responsibilities: - Operate cleaning process machines to wash and remove impurities from fabricated metal stamp parts, and or apply rust proof oils to stamped parts as prescribed by the process documentation. - Familiarization with the operation of clean line, and developing basic knowledge of how metal parts are cleaned and dried, the chemicals used, the exposure time, and solution concentration, temperature and cycle lengths in accordance with process documentations and or parts specifications. - Maintenance of the clean line, including drain, clean, and refill machines or tanks at designated intervals, measure, weigh, and or mix cleaning tank chemicals and water solutions as prescribed by the process procedures. - Learn how to perform metallurgical sampling prep work, including sectioning, mounting, course grinding, fine grinding, polishing, and acid etching of metals. - Learn how to perform hardness testing, use optical comparator, and other measuring tools such as Calipers, micrometers. - Record gauge readings, materials used, processing times, and/or test results in production logs. - Learn and familiarize with stamping of metal parts, metal re-forming using specialized tooling and stamping presses. This role enables product availability and executes load building in coordination between our clients.    RESPONSIBILITIES: - Participates in manual allocation initiatives to balance sales orders and STOs to avoid inventory shortages or to prioritize shipping schedules. - Executes product allocation plan based on defined business priorities. - Works with stakeholders to ensure product allocations are managed and processed per plan. - Provides support and resolution for Interco export transactions to include or exclude Life Science and/or Consumable products with hazardous ingredients. - Prepares end of quarter monthly reports to provide progress status of outbound deliveries vs end of quarter shipping plan. - Management of Daily Reports for Incomplete Log, Open Orders, Backorders, Orders stuck in interface/coordinate with DCs - Focuses on orders >15days past due to determine the reason for delay and resolves the issues to reduce backorder and maintain data integrity. - Reviews daily reports in SAP and coordinates with the distribution centers (DC) to ensure product is shipped on schedule or notify supply planner of inventory deficiencies. - Monitoring of STOs in SAP to support APAC, EMEA and the Americas. - Manages the Global Interco Queue to ensure EDI and Manual Orders are resolved using SAP t-codes. - Reviews sales orders for SAP and Non SAP customers and intercompany. - Monitors and ensures the integrity and accuracy for relevant master data maintained in SAP to support orders and STOs - Actively reviews PBI and BA reports to identify areas of inventory shortage and communications with cross-functional teams to mitigate service level interruptions to key regions and customers. - Works with Supply Planners and Product Managers to ensure STOs are executed per plan or adjusted to meet fluctuating demand. - Interacts with LEX, Manufacturing, Planning and Interco to balance supply and demand, and product allocation when necessary. - Collaborates cross-functionally to recommend freight mode changes based upon STO quantity and order frequency to ensure cost efficiency. - Builds ocean containers based on regional needs and coordinates with the warehouse to schedule equipment on time to achieve ocean timelines. - Maintains ocean dashboard and prepares trend analysis as needed. - Ensures credit and debit requests are managed, processed, and proper approvals are obtained per Company Policy. - Utilizes PBI or BA reports to identify process or system gaps and recommends improvements to simplify and standardize practices. - Maintains SOP for all current workflows and helps the team to create new or improve existing SOP's. - Supports special projects driving process improvements. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. There will be peak periods during the year with high workloads due to overlapping deadlines and time sensitive priorities.   This role requires up to 15% travel.   WHAT YOU’LL DO - Assist with conducting multiple clinical research studies - Collect, complete, and maintain essential clinical trial documents including, but not limited to study member CVs, clinical licenses, financial disclosures, FDA-required documents, protocol training and responsibility logs. - Organize, file, and maintain study documents, including IRB-approved documents, case report forms, questionnaires, databases, and promotional materials on e-regulatory or internal platforms in a manner that is compliant with regulations and GCP.   - Perform pre-screening in electronic health records to identify potential participants and contact them for study participation.. - Interact with study participants directly and indirectly to route informed consents for e-signatures. - Organize and schedule initial and ongoing patient follow-up, including arranging lab work and appointments as needed per protocol. - Works with the research manager and clinic staff to set up patient visits. - Register research participants in study-specific portals as required by the protocol. - Complete case report forms as required by the protocol. - Arrange courier pick-ups from clinic sites on patient visit days. - Assist with payment arrangements for subject compensation via third party payment platform or other specified methods. - Perform data entry in electronic data capture system and answer administrative queries that arise in a timely manner. - Download lab reports from protocol-specified portals and prepare for investigator acknowledgement via electronic patient binder platform. - Maintain inventory of study-specific equipment and supplies. - Maintain timely communication with sponsor and other vendors as requested -- including research specimen inquiries. - Share screening logs and other regulatory documents with sponsors as requested. - Schedule meetings (internal and external) as requested. - Prepare agendas and record meeting minutes during research discussions. - Prepare administrative forms, documents, and case report forms as requested. - Assists with submitting manuscripts and abstracts to scientific journals and conference portals. - Maintain awareness of deadlines and inform clinical research managers of any identified or anticipated delays in workflows. - Maintain discretion and confidentiality of sensitive records and information.   ABOUT YOU - Undergraduate degree required (health-related field is a plus) - Minimum of 1 year related experience with clinical research coordination/assistance - Ability to coordinate research within a team environment - Knowledge of research ethics and regulations - Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills are required   PERKS - Forward-thinking, transparent, and inclusive company culture - Collaborative environment within and across our clinic sites and at HQ in San Francisco   TCW Global is an equal opportunity employer.
